Soak-off cat eye nail polish review

Some of you maybe saw on my Facebook page that I have received some new Born Pretty Store goodies and I was the most curious about a Cat eye soak-off nail polish

The polish came with a magnet which gives the cat eye effect. I started my manicure with a black base because I read on the BPS site that it is needed and I layered it up with the soak-off effect nail polish #4, put close to it the magnet before drying it in the UV lamp.

The effect is exactly like a cat eye and I simply can not have enough of this beauty. On the site you can find this polish in several other colors at a very, very good price!

If you like this effect soak-off nail polish you can find it HERE and you're welcome to use my bellow seen discount code for any of your purchases.

One-stroke flower nail art

I missed doing some one-stroke nail art, this is why last weekend I took my acrylic paint, which started to dry because it was not used from such a long time and painted two accent nails with purple flowers. Besides the thick swirls, I like the effect of the flowers but I definitely need more practice.

I hope you like my nail art and I am very curious about your opinion, so you're comment is welcome bellow!
Thank you for stopping by and have a nice day!

Silicone Stamping Mat

Hello ladies, how are you?

Today I am going to show you a mani I made last year in December. I wanted to were a pastel, light shaded nail art and this is why I choose Essence - Sweet as Candy which is very new in my stash and Maybelline - Lookout Lemon 22. I recently received as a surprise gift from the Born Pretty Store a silicone stamping mate and thought it is a good idea to try it.

Before I used the silicone mat I cleaned it with some alcohol. After it I used a thin layer of top coat on the darker nail image and let it dry, then I stamped on it with the silver foil Barry M nail polish, a swirly image from my new Moyra Geometry stamping plate. After painting the nail polishes on the stamped image I finished it with a layer of top coat and waited until it dried. I picked it up easily with the help of a tweezers and placed it on my nails. The mate worked perfectly, I had no problems using it.

The mat is for table protection but it serves for doing stamping decals or any kind of nail art practice! The size of the mat I received is 28x21 cm. It came in a handy cardboard tube, so anytime after use I can put it away in safety.

Unfortunately the nail art didn't came out as I wished, the color combination with the silver stamped image does not work so well together and the essence nail polish is extremely sheer, so it was not the best chose for this stamping decal.

If you like this mat, you can find it HERE and if you purchase anything from the Born Pretty Store site yore welcome to use my below seen discount code.

Beauty Bloggers Meeting Cluj - 5th edition

Last year in November I took part at the 5th Beauty Bloggers Meeting organized in my hometown Cluj. As each year so many lovely ladies came together, and we spent a few hours talking about blogging and how to make a business from this hobby and became a professional. Our conversation was very informative and I felt relaxed and enjoyed a lot to hear about the experiences of bloggers who already have a business.

This event was organized by four amazing ladies you may already know: Anca, Gabriela, Cleopatra and Julia. They made huge efforts to make a memorable evening and in my opinion they succeeded!

We had a dress code like each year and this time it was gray&gold time. So, of course my nails were appropriate for this evening :) Some of you may already have seen this mani on my INSTAGRAM account @funandi

We ate a cake that looked like a million and tasted fantastic made by Bonbonerie.
At the end of the event the girls surprised us with lots of goodie bags full with cosmetics. The sponsors of this event were: Farmec, Melkior, Himalaya, Henkel, Solaris, ELF, Bioderma, Oriflame, Anstasia Beverly Hills, 7th Heaven, Elmiplant, Atlantica and B.U. I was super lucky and won a make-up session from Gabriela Popescu Mak-Up and I am already anxious to go to her!

Welcome 2017

Happy New Year to all of you dear readers and friends. I wish you all the best for 2017. Did you made some new resolutions? Well, as always I wished for my family, friends and me health and happiness!

I know that I've been MIA these days, but those of you who follow me on Facebook may have seen that I cut nasty one of my fingers and this is why I made a pause. In one of the pictures bellow the cut is visible, but I am glad that it heals quickly and well.

With this manicure I want to wish you all the best to all of you, may this new year bring you joy and happiness!
